Cryogenic Valve

Speciality Valve is renowned as the leading Cryogenic valve manufacturers in India. Cryogenic valve are specially designed valves used in systems that handle extremely low temperatures, typically below -150°C (-238°F). These valves are engineered to withstand the harsh conditions presented by cryogenic fluids such as liquefied natural gas (LNG), liquid nitrogen, and liquid oxygen. They are constructed using materials that remain resilient and maintain their structural integrity at such low temperatures. The valves play a crucial role in controlling the flow of cryogenic fluids in various industries, including aerospace, energy, and research applications.

Features:
Cryogenic valve have extended bonnets to act as thermal barriers, preventing extremely cold fluids from reaching and damaging the stem packing and other sensitive components. This design prevents ice formation, reduces thermal stress, and ensures reliable operation in very low temperatures, essential for applications like LNG processing and industrial gas production.

Working Principle:
To safeguard and appropriately store cryogenic gases or other media, cryogenic valves are kept naturally closed. When there is high pressure, a cryogenic valve pushes into the open position, which makes it easier for the gas or other medium to pass through. The open flow continues until the pressure drops again, at which point it swings back and shuts off using a special bubble-tight closure made of metal to stop any leaks. The performance of the valve is somewhat influenced by the external pressure. The normal state of the valve is kept closed. Consequently, the media within the valve will remain contained and not seep into the surrounding air. These valves are specifically designed to react to pressure rises.

Benefits:
1.Low Temperature Suitability
2.Material Compatibility
3.Tight Sealing
4.Safety
5.Reliability
6.Versatility

Industrial Application:
1.Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) must be transported through cryogenic pipelines and valves to prevent vaporization and expansion. The appropriate type of cryogenic valve is selected based on specific requirements.
2.These industries use cryogenic valves to transport liquefied gases and chemicals, ensuring safe and efficient handling at low temperatures.
3.The valves are commonly used in aerospace construction and turbines, playing a crucial role in various aerospace applications.
4.These valves are vital in air separation plants, where they are used in processes that involve separating different gases from the air using various pressure techniques.
